On 12 May 2016, JLT is hosting a Commercial Litigation Conference which will take a close look at the use of third party funding, including:
- A discussion as to how third party funding can impact interim injunctions as well as Security for costs applications
- Consideration of the ever evolving area of financial markets litigation and how to build a group action and then fund it
- A panel discussion by four leading funders who will provide their views on the funding market, the future of funding and what lawyers need to consider when seeking funding
- An insightful talk in to the relatively new world of mediating costs disputes
Robert Rothkopf of Balance Legal Capital will be a member of the panel for the third party funding discussion, titled ‘The present, the future and everything in between’. The discussion will be chaired by Vikram Sachdeva QC of 39 Essex Street, and the panel line up also includes Neil Purslow of Therium, Ross Clark of Burford Capital and Marius Nasta of Redress Solutions.
Robert Rothkopf is the managing partner of Balance Legal Capital LLP, a provider of third-party funding for international arbitration and litigation, headquartered in London, UK.
